The Moon Walk b/w The Miracle Worker by King Solomon - Funk 45 on Highland Records #1202 When I found this record I wondered if this Los Angeles Funk record inspired Michael Jackson's dance move. After a quick search the answer was plain and simple, NO! Apparently similar moves have been made as far back as the 1930's just under different names. The now legendary dance move was also known as the "backslide" before Michael's first performance of the "Moonwalk" in 1983. King Solomon doesn't really explain what the moon walk is in this song but it's obviously a dance, maybe you can make up your own moves. Tell me how it goes.
