Pick Up A Coupl'a Records b/w Split Personality by JIM BURGETT - Rockabilly 45 on Go Records #6565 The first thing you hear is a strong bass intro, a drum beat, then a twangy guitar to get this Rockabilly gem started. "Pick Up A Coupl'a Records and walk down to the hop" says an Elvis Presley sounding voice. Split Personality is based on the classic Jekyll & Hyde story, so it has a wicked little beat and vocals. "Suddenly there's a devil in me who starts to rage" Jim says in a raspy voice. My humanness brings me to deal with this same classic struggle on a daily basis. Jekyll wins for me most days. Which side rules you?
